Our story

MACAW is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and was founded in 2020 to bring the benefits of comedy, play, laughter, and wellbeing together in workshops that are approachable, fun and engaging. We believe laughter is a powerful tool for personal growth and that everyone deserves to unlock their creativity, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive, enjoyable environment.

MACAW is an acronym for Mostly About Comedy And Wellbeing, but there's more packed into that vibrant "C."  It also stands for Confidence, Connection, Creativity, Challenge and Change - the core qualities we help you unlock through playful, purposeful workshops.
